Medium term extended primary
This facility has been attracting foreign clients for several years now. They have a well-established program based on a concept of extended care rather than the confrontational approach often employed in short-term treatment facilities.
They have a highly experienced staff comprised of social workers and addictions counselors trained with Hazelden (this American program is one of the most recognized training programs in the world).
Their program lasts 12 weeks after which we could have the option of placing you in Tertiary Care. At this point you will be helped to reintegrate into society and to practice the skills you have learned while still having the benefit of a safe environment.
Their facilities are placed on a large property with extensive gardens of the famous Cape ‘fynbos’ natural bush. It has a swimming pool and large recreation area. The property has beautiful views of mountains and is high up on a hill allowing an uninterrupted view of the sea.
